What is Cyprus QA?
Cyprus QA is a collaborative internet database of FAQs about Cyprus. It is a new way to find and share knowledge about this beautiful, picturesque Mediterranean island. Aim of the web site is to allow visitors to quickly search and find accurate information. Web site connects people that seek for answers with people that know them.
Does it costs money to participate?
Nope. Not at all. It is completely FREE!
How it differs from typical forum?
Cyprus QA is a place for people to ask questions, answer them in order to share their knowledge.
Unlike typical chat room it is not a place to ask each other how their are doing today
Unlike typical forum, Cyprus QA is a place where users ask specific questions ans answers are ordered by their correctness and relevance. Cyprus QA does not offer typical thread discussion. It focuses on finding most appropriate answer for certain question. It is community that decides on that.
How to ask question?
It is really easy. First You need to do is to login. If You do not have an account register yourself. Then click on the link on top right corner of every page, called 'Ask Question'. You will see a panel where you can specify text of Your question. Provide your question and tags (single key words that distinguishes your question). Optionally, you can provide some more description if You would like clarify question.
How to answer question?
Remember that only registered users can post new answer. After logging go to question details by clicking on question you would like to answer. Below all answers there is a text area where you can write your own suggestion. Then click 'Add Your answer' button. That's all!
How to vote on question?
You need to be registered to vote on question.
You can vote on question using
button to the left of question text on details pane. Click on it to add your vote, click again to undo it.
Voting for question increases question's author reputation, so it is important to come up with interesting ones.
How to vote on answer?
To vote on answer you need to be registered. Voting on answer is used to order answers for certain
question. To do that use one of the buttons on the left of each answer:
You can click on green hand (positive vote) or red hand (negative vote). Number to the right is
a sum of all positive votes minus sum of negative votes. To cancel your vote click again on one of the
buttons. You can only give one vote to each answer.
How to accept answer?
Only question's author can mark one of answers as accepted. To accept answer
click on the green 'tick button' on the left side of each answer. This button
is only visible to question's author
What is reputation? How can I receive points?
Reputation tells about how much community trusts You. Answer provided by high reputation user
will more likely to be considered as accepted than answer provided by low-reputation user.
Reputation point are what You receive for posting interesting questions or giving helpful answers.

Stars represent user's reputation. They are assigned after passing each level of reputation boundaries:
